Peggy is beginning her twenty-first year in Catholic Education and her fourth year as Principal of St. Clare. Prior to coming to St. Clare, she taught 5th and 6th grade for fourteen years at Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole, MA and was principal for three years at St. Michael School in Hudson, MA. She holds principal licenses in Massachusetts as well as Colorado and has teaching licenses for Kindergarten through ninth grade in Massachusetts. She has been married to George Warner for 35 years. They have three grown children and one granddaughter who will be three in November. All three of their children attended Blessed Sacrament School, where she worked as a teacher. |

| Jenn has been with St. Clare for five years. Born and raised in Detroit, she grew up ski racing, playing field hockey, golfing and water skiing! Jenn graduated from the University of Colorado in 2000 and moved up to Minturn that summer. She was married in 2004 to Joe Bianchi, a Vermonter, fabulous musician and former US Ski Team member. She and Joe just recently purchased their first home in Minturn and has family living right down the street. Her younger brother, Chris, lives across the street and her older brother, Jeff, sister-in-law, Terry, and extra special nephew, Xander, live about a mile up the road. Her other brother, Matt, is far away in Florida! Music is a huge part of Jenn’s life, though not musically talented herself! Her husband plays music locally with his sister Terry, and her brother Jeff plays keyboards in Little Hercules locally and nationally. When she’s not at one of her husband’s or brother’s gigs, Jenn spends most of her free time golfing, fly fishing, skiing and exercising her energetic dog Oliver! |

Annie will be entering her third year as the kindergarten teacher. She was the Youth Librarian for the Town of Vail Library for 10 years and an Early Childhood Director for 4 years. Annie enjoys the spirit of the youth and strives to teach to the individual. She looks forward to the school year and all it has to offer. Annie is married to Todd Schmidt for 10 years and has two Children, Marti, 7 years old and Mac, 6 years old who are both enrolled at St. Clare’s. Their dog Jet Screamer stays at home with their 2 cats in Sweetwater, CO. |

Karen is a certified SCUBA Diver and trains her family dog, Kenobi for agility and obedience, earning him the title Champion Dog. She has been married to Drew Werner for 21 years and has two children, Kyle, 16 years old, and Ryan, 11 years old. |

Terri is in her second year at St. Clare of Assisi School. Last year she was the primary aide and this year is very excited to be teaching second grade. She returned with her husband, a Vail native and 22-year Marine veteran, to the valley last year. Terri enjoys running, biking, triathlons and cooking. She also loves to read and feels incredibly blessed to do all of these activities in such a beautiful place. Terri has been married to Bern Krueger for 17 years and has three children; Caleb, 13; Katie, 8; and Melisa 6. All three children attend St. Clare of Assisi School. |

She has been married to Gary Thornton, a retired Coast Guard Captain, for 17 years and has one son Kristofer, a 14 year old freshman at VCHS. Patti is a native of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and has lived in Virginia and Louisiana before settling in Colorado in 1987. |

Rachael has lived in Gypsum, Colorado for 16 years. She is married to Herb Messerich and has a 13 year old son, Shawn, and an 11 year old daughter, Natalie. A few of her favorite pastimes include camping, fishing, singing, listening to music, and snow skiing. |

She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in education for grades first-eighth. Amanda moved to the Vail Valley in 2000 to pursue a career in teaching. Linda has been an elementary teacher for 9 years. In addition to being an elementary classroom teacher, she has taught reading and technology. Linda believes her mission is to create an environment where learning is valued and each child feels loved, inspired and truly cared about. St. Clare’s motto is "Spirit of One." Each child is unique with different strengths and weaknesses. Linda strives to make each child succeed in a safe environment where he or she can take risks and not worry about making mistakes. Linda will teach the curriculum in a way that is fun yet challenging. Linda always goes back to the question "How would I want my sons to be treated". In addition to teaching the three r's, Linda supports each child's journey in becoming a kind, caring member of society who loves learning and knows how special they are and how much God loves them.

| Carol has been a Catholic school teacher for eight years and is a founding faculty member of St. Clare of Assisi. She also taught in the Eagle County Public School system for three years as a Gifted and Talented teacher at Eagle Valley Middle School, and a Title 1 Reading teacher at Gypsum Elementary. While earning her degree in French Literature she spent her junior year of college in Parish, France, studying at the University of Paris, Sorbonne. A Colorado resident since 1980, Carol continued her education at Western State College in Gunnison in order to earn her Elementary Education Certification and license. She loves skiing, hiking, reading, and Spending time with her family, her husband Gary, daughter Kate, age 24, and son Michael, age 20. |

Jenn has been a Catholic school teacher for 13 years and is a founding faculty member of St. Clare of Assisi School. She has taught middle school in Oahu, Hawaii for 3 years, and in Lakewood, CO for 3 years. In July 2003, she was chosen to participate in the Bearing Witness: Anti-Semitism, The Holocaust &Contemporary Issues in Washington DC. In July 2006, she was also one out of 30 Catholic school educators from across the country who traveled to Israel to learn about anti-Semitism and the Holocaust as part of the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) nationally acclaimed Bearing Witness Advanced. She has been married to Guy Stiebel, from Durban, South Africa, for eight years and has a very active Jack Russell named Tulani. |

Anne has been an educator for seventeen years, beginning with her Teaching Assistantship as a graduate student at Temple University where she taught College Writing. This school year will be her fourth year at St. Clare’s. Other teaching positions include High School English teacher at Rosary High School in Fullerton, CA, Reading Specialist for Manhattan Beach Unified, adjunct faculty at Colorado Mountain College, and Literacy Coach at St. Clare’s. Graduate work in special education and literacy has been completed at UCLA, University of California, Irvine, and University of Colorado. Anne was a fellow in the UCI Writing Project and is trained in Project Read. Anne lives in Eagle with her husband Rob and sons Drew, Luke and John who all attend St. Clare’s. |

This will be Dawn’s second year at St. Clare of Assisi School as the Music teacher. She holds a professional teaching license from Colorado Department of Education. Dawn graduated from Colorado Christian University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Education. She taught literacy at Red Hill Elementary School and has substituted for Eagle County and Jefferson County Schools. Before returning to teaching last year, Dawn was a stay at home mom and has built her own business as a Mary Kay consultant. Dawn is married to Joe Vallejos and their daughter Shannon attends 7th grade at St. Clare. Dawn’s hobbies include playing flute at St. Mary’s, hiking, fishing, and snowshoeing. |

He has been married for five years to Maria who teaches at Eagle Valley Elementary and he has a great little three-year-old named Rory. John loves spending time in the outdoors, especially hauling his son around in his baby-backpack to various alpine destinations. |

Jean had been an educator for 12 years. She has been with St. Clare of Assisi School for five years. She taught the fourth grade for four years and now is in her second year as Outdoor Educator and assistant in the third and fourth grades science, math, and Colorado history classes. For several years, she was the manager of Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts Cross Country Ski Schools. She created the Beaver Creek Cross Country Ski Center and Mc Coy Park track system and was a member of PSIA Examining Board for Nordic Instructor/Guide Certifications. Presently, she is a member of the Tenth Mountain Division Hut Association Board. She was a backpack guide and team course facilitator for Meet the Wilderness for 28 years. Jean is a Colorado native who has traveled to all 50 states and several countries on five other continents. |
