Kindergarten

• A child entering kindergarten must be five years old on or before September 15.  There are no exceptions to this criterion.
• Screening for kindergarten consists of The Brigance Screening Test, which is administered by the kindergarten teacher.
• The principal will meet with the parents during the child’s screening to provide an opportunity for informal discussion.
• Acceptance letters are mailed in March.
• Kindergarten is a full day, five day a week program
