BAPTISM is one of the three sacraments of initiation, is the first of the seven sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. It removes the guilt and effects of Original Sin and incorporates the baptized into the Church, the Mystical Body of Christ on earth. There are scheduled sessions throughout the year for the parents of children through age six who would like to have their child baptized.

These sessions are required if it has been three years since you last attended Baptism preparation sessions. Parents are encouraged to do the preparation prior to the birth of the child.

Information presented includes sacramental preparation as well as family spirituality. Both parents are encouraged to participate, whether Catholic or not; and, of course, the new baby is welcome.
